Baked Chicken Alfredo Penne Pasta

Ingredients
  

Chicken Pasta

  • 12 Oz Ziti Noodles
  • 2 Cups Shredded Chicken
  • 1 1/2 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Homemade Alfredo Sauce

  • 1 Tblsp Olive Oil or Butter
  • 4 Cloves Garlic Minced
  • 3 Tblsp Flour
  • 1 Cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 3/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper

Directions for Homemade Alfredo Sauce

  • Heat Olive Oil (or Butter) in a large pan over Med-High heat
  • Add Garlic and sauté for 1 minute, stirring occasionally
  • Sprinkle with flour, stirring to combine, and sauté for an additional minute
  • Slowly add Chicken Broth, whisking to combine until smooth
  • Whisk in Milk and bring mixture to a simmer
  • Let cook an additional minute or until thickened
  • Stir in Parmesan Cheese, Salt and Pepper, until Cheese is melted

Directions for Baked Chicken Alfredo Penne Pasta

  • Preheat oven to 375° F.
  • Spray a 9" X 13" Pan with Non-Stick Cooking Spray
  • Cook Ziti Noodles "Al Dente" and then drain
  • Return Pasta to the pot and add the Chicken Alfredo Sauce
  • Gently toss, to combine, until Pasta is coated
  • Pour half of the Pasta into the coated pan
  • Sprinkle with 1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Layer remaining Pasta on top of the Cheese
  • Sprinkle with remaining Cheese
  • Bake 20-25 Minutes, until Cheese is melted

Notes

Serve Immediately and Refrigerate any leftovers
